Indian Program

INDIAN PROGRAM

To ensure that all of our patients feel completely at home, Central Island Healthcare has established a program to cater to the needs of our South Asian patients.

Being sensitive to the cultural backgrounds of our patients, Central Island is proud to offer our Indian guests an assortment of amenities geared toward their specific needs. We want our patients to feel completely at home, and that means being surrounded by familiar food, faith, and culture, which is why we integrated this program to improve the environment of our Indian patients.

Communication is never a problem – a large number of our staff and doctors are fluent speakers of various South Asian dialects, so our patients never have to worry about being misunderstood when communicating with the staff.

In addition to our regular menu of fine delicacies, we also offer patients an assortment of popular South Asian dishes from our Indian Cuisine Menu. Central Island Healthcare has also recently added multiple international television stations which exclusively broadcast Indian programming 24 hours per day.

Understanding the important role of religion in one’s life, Central Island has developed a relationship with some of the local Hindu Temples who visit our facility and provide religious services for our patients.
